It is believed that wild boar were first introduced in Florida in the 1500's by the Spanish. With over 60,000 acres - Big 'O' Hunts has plenty of wild hunting land to put you on the baddest boar around. As feral hogs are not native originally to Florida and breed quickly, they endanger native populations of animals and their rooting (digging) sometimes endangers local populations of cattle and other crops - so hogs can be hunted year-round without a license. With spot and stalk hunting, buggy hunts, night hunts, and spear hunts available - you have plenty of options to be able to hunt your wild hog. Just let us know what you're looking for. Our hog hunt pricing is based on the type of hog harvested - sport/meat hogs or trophy hogs (those hogs >200 lbs and >2" of teeth). Unlike other outfitters, we don't charge any extra fees on top of trophy hogs regarding teeth/tusk size, etc. Our only other charge for hogs is $50/hog to clean/quarter/cape it for you.
